33rd Annual ILA Recap

July 16, 2014

Thank you to everyone who came out to our 33rd Annual I Love America Summer Celebration! We had such a great turnout and you really could feel the community spirit in the air. Popcorn, pizza, sugary samples of a local ice cream were being served to the community as they walked through dozens of booths. Pops in the Park presented by Shades Mountain Baptist had everyone tapping their toes and humming their favorite tunes. Children released all that sugary energy in the bounce houses and the swimming pool. It truly was a great event. As the evening began to wind down and we began to prepare to show the ever so popular Disney-animated film, Frozen we were hit with a brief windstorm that caused us to delay the film (we always have the best luck with weather!) But, thankfully, we were able to postpone and play the movie the following Thursday. Here are a few photos and a video of the day.

Here’s to 351 more days until our 34th Annual I Love America!
